Italian American Folk Witchcraft: Remedies and Rituals
Our offerings are crafted by our ancestral roots
We are a small-batch online apothecary providing ritual and herbal products. The herbs we use are organic, ethically (& most times locally) sourced, and wildcrafted. All of our creations are made through our ancestral lens (southern italian & celtic), with the intention to help others re-connect with themselves and the ancestors.

Meet the Creatrix
Jenna Faccenda is an Italian American folk herbalist, witch, and writer. Deeply rooted in the traditions of her southern Italian heritage from Sicily and Campania, and viewed through the lens of the diaspora, she weaves Italian American folk herbalism into every aspect of her work. Through these practices, Jenna honors her ancestors and the guidance of the plants.
As the creatrix of Widow Apothecary, Jenna crafts and sells herbal remedies along with Italian folk magic tools.
Jenna also teaches Italian folk magic and herbalism classes, sharing the history, rituals, and practices that reflect her cultural lineage. Her teachings and creations celebrate the deep intertwining of heritage, magic, and the connection with plants.
Jenna’s teachings and practices are shaped by her southern Italian roots, her teachers on the plant path (Kimberly Geisler, Janet Kent, Dave Meesters, Jen Stovall, MaryBeth Bonfiglio, Lisa Fazio and Lupo Passero), and her former career working in publishing.
